KL is a beautiful city rich in history with a beautiful mix of people across Asia. There are many things to see in KL and I wish I had stayed longer to see more! The food is amazing, and you’ll have no trouble finding somewhere to eat in KL, and many people will try to help you if you need directions. Malay is definitely not a language I know, so I was grateful many people understood English. Do be aware that the city can get very warm and humid, so make sure you’re hydrated. Using Grab is the best way around the city and felt very safe using it. You might have random thunder and rain but they are short lived ( it is after all a tropical country). There are many food markets to go to as well.

There's a lot more to KL than a glitzy skyline.
There's a lot more to KL than a glitzy skyline. Food and city travel offer high quality and great value (download the Grab taxi app). A good city to walk in. A walking tour with David Tan of Guru Tours gave us glimpses into KL's past and present, as well as hints of the future. It is a suprisingly green city - citizens and authorities seem to love their trees. Shiny contemporary skyscrapers live comfortably alongside old structures that seem to be in no danger of disappearing - the casual visitor could be wrong. Some of the new buildings are beautiful, with clever incorporation of Islamic motifs, though the broad strategy of the town planners is a bit mystifying. A lack of stress in the way people negotiate their city belies its primary commercial focus.
Our best experience in KL was the Museum of Islamic Art which was exhibiting contemporary explorations of Arabic calligraphy. An exhibition worth visiting KL for - check out how liberating calligraphy from conventional rules unleashed a storm of immersive art.

Kuala Lumpur is nice city and very well connected with Metro and Mono and bus service. We could not able to use bus service as it required (compulsory touch-n-go card which we don't wanted to buy as its bloking your some money and for each traveller we need to buy it). We find challen for vegitarian people as there is hardly any option for vegitarian to eat in kuala lumpur but for other its heaven. We did most of our booking on klook and booking.com which were very smooth and hassle free. you can use your internation debit or credit card for transaction at most of places (again if you refill your touch n go card then that will also very handy)

Loved my trip to Kuala Lumpur - the city was vibrant and easy to navigate. The public transport system was very useful to get around and the rail link between the airport and KL Sentral station was super handy. I would recommend travellers to stay in the Bukit Bintang area to be close to the shopping malls and plenty of eateries.

We were travelling as a large family of 7 and wanted a mixture of experiences, we opted to use the hop on and off to get a feel for the city and the made some decisions on what we wanted to see, that was helpful. Top highlights - KL Bird Park, Time Square Mall, Batu Cave, Kanching Rainforest Waterfall. We didn’t bother to figure out the public transport, with having the kids with us it was much easier to just take taxi’s to places and still very affordable. For the majority of our trip we stayed at Traders Hotel, this was brilliant, perfect for the family, great facilities, and close to KLCC. We had some flights changes which meant we had to extend our stay for an extra couple of days, to make it a little more affordable we moved accommodation towards the end of our trip to be closer to China town and the markets and experience that part of KL, in the end we regretted that decision, that side of the city is not great for kids, it’s pretty rough and feels more like a backpackers / young adult scene. We still enjoyed exploring the markets but it wasn’t great for the kids. We discovered that Time Square Mall had very similar stalls in its upper levels and a whole lot more things for the kids to do in the Theme Park so that was a better experience. Over all some great adventures were had and we loved most of our time in Kuala Lumpur.
The hotel location of the hotel is great. Twin tower view room offers really nice view on the Petronas twin towers and Suria KLCC including the water show. It is also near to the connecting walkway to Bukit Bintang.
The rooms are clean and spacious.
The staffs are courteous and friendly. However not to the point where they remember your name during your stay unlike other 5 stars franchise hotels. For example for the 3rd visit to the lounge the same staff still needed to ask for my room number and verified in the system.
It’s very nice hotel with a super convenient location just next door to Pavilion mall, Bukit Bintang station and tons of restaurants and cafes. Room is clean and comfortable, shower and AC works great. They provide 24 hours check in service, which is amazing if you have a late evening flight. I had a Deluxe room with a window, so was nice to wake up with a view. And they do have kettle and tab with drinking, so can do your coffee in the morning
What I liked the most was its location & convenience - easy access to everything such as public transportation (trains, monorail, bus, etc.), wide range of restaurants, supermarket as it's in front of Nu Sentral Mall and the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms. The hotel fulfilled my request for a room with a window. Thank you so much for that. But overall, this is a good hotel for a budgetary travel in KL especially for those solo travelers. :)
The location is in the heart of Chinatown with variety of food stalls around. It is nearby to MRT and bus terminals.
You can select a coach that drop off at Chinatown from Singapore, Uptown Is just five minutes away.
There is also a direct bus at the nearby terminal to Putrajaya Sentral.
The room size is relatively bigger than most budget hotel. The hotel provides thick clean bath towel, instant coffee, tea and water flask heater.
Probably one of my favourite hotels in the world. The room was great – large and supremely comfortable. The view over the park was amazing. The staff are super friendly, and the whole hotel has an air of professionalism and excellence. We ate at Chynna twice and loved it. The location is so handy – so close to the airport train and also the Nu Sentral Mall. We'll stay again – and soon.
The receptionist is very polite and helpful, the room was super clean and comfy .. very near with atrractive place and nearby lrt stesen.. very recommended to traveller who love to stay at city centre.. even this Hotel is a budget hotel but the room n their service is like 4 to 5 star standard! kudos! to travelodge city centre team!! 😉
Convenient location at the bottom of Menara Tower. Two nearby metro / monorail stations. Bukit Bintang and Sentral station only 2 or 3 stops from the hotel.
Nice and rich International breakfast.
Good view on Menara and KLCC from the rooftop / pool.
Friendly and professional staff.
Small, but well equipped gym.
The location is superb. Easy to access, and surrounding is 24 hour area, where you can easily get food and emergency kit even in the middle of the night. Next to the hotel, have oriental Malaysia Cafe. Any kind of food from breakfast to dinner. The facilities is like regular 3 star hotel, complete and clean.
The room was so spacious, clean & tidy. Parking is provided, Rm10 per entry. for me it is okay as the location of hotel is very strategic. walking distance to Pavillion & Bukit Bintang. Overall was good! will repeat to check in here again.
Chic modern style hotel. love the interior works. The food at breakfast buffets is 5 star (lots of choices and tastes excellent)Lunch food is also delicious and value for money. very friendly staff both at reception and restaurant.
Frequent traveler in this area but my first time at Royce Hotel! Excellent for a budget hotel in KL Sentral! For the room rate I got a comfortable clean room & front office were great! Will be staying here now on.
Great location - just next to KL Sentral station. Really convenient from the airport. The hotel is also connected to a mall via a sheltered walkway, hence its really convenient to get food and shopping.
Location is near Sentral station walking distance , restaurants nearby , hotel and room was clean. Wifi was okay. Room was spacious with two beds. Very good budget friendly hotel value for money spend.
The services provided by Pavilion Hotel Bukit Bintang staff were extraordinary. Facilities, environment and room were excellent. But still cannot compare to Majestic Hotel.
